Oludeniz - Downtown
Ölüdeniz is a neighborhood of Fethiye district of Muğla province. Oludeniz beach was voted the most beautiful beach in the world in 2006 by eighty-two percent of the vote.
The town is quite developed in terms of tourism. In the Lycians, the land of light and sun is known as Uzak Far Land Uzak in the Middle Ages and is located on the Teke Peninsula in southwest Anatolia. abalone in Turkey (lagoon) is one of the formations.
Oludeniz is a character name like stagnant lake. While the coasts of Belceğiz grapple with the waves during the stormy days, only fluttering occurs in Ölüdeniz.
However, Oludeniz, which seems to be stagnant, renews itself almost every day for three invisible reasons. First of all, the dense spring water outlets in Ölüdeniz create a current from the inside to the open sea at the bottom. Secondly, due to the salt difference created by these spring waters, there is a continuous circulation from the open sea to the inside and out. Thirdly, with the tidal effect, the sea rises and descends about half a meter every two to three days. This provides a large amount of seawater inlet and outlet.
It is possible to reach the town by land, sea and airway. There are regular bus services from centers such as Antalya, Izmir, Ankara and Istanbul to Fethiye. Dalaman Airport is an hour away from the resort. The distance between Fethiye and Oludeniz is 12 km. There is regular transportation from Fethiye to the town.
There are many qualified hotels, pensions, and camping sites in the town. All kinds of sea sports can be done in the town safari, mountaineering, hiking and rafting opportunities, as well as Babadağ'dan 2000 meters altitude "Paragliding" with the opportunity to jump.
Located on the Fethiye-Ovacık highway, in the pine forests, this village is one of the developed tourism centers with a bed capacity of around 3000 as hotels and pensions. It is a quiet resting place, mostly attracted by British tourists.
Ovacik city center 6 km. away. Its distance to Ölüdeniz is 5 km.  Fethiye-Belceğiz-Ölüdeniz road on the right and left-handed hostels and hotels in this district is a tourism district where the old and the new fusion.
Oludeniz is the neighborhood where the lagoon. Modern facilities are located in Belceğiz, the coastal strip of which is prepared by the Special Environmental Protection Agency. In Belceğiz district, there are all kinds of accommodation, food and beverage, and all kinds of water sports are available in public beaches.
There is a well-organized camping site in KIDRAK National Park, southeast of Belceğiz, and Uzunyurt neighborhood beyond.
Kumburnu and Oludeniz are located in the northwest of Belceğiz. This region was designated as National Park in 1978 and it is a natural protected area at the first degree. Kumburnu is used as a daily resting beach.
